We are working with a medium freight forwarder, are looking to recruit an Ocean Import Operator for a Maternity cover of 6 months, however would be extended.
The role Involves:
· To maintain and achieve high standards in customer relations.
· To maintain customer service, based on the company initiative and customer feedback to offer best possible service to customers while managing associated risks accordingly.
· Manage daily tasks/files always ensuring focus on company and customer objectives.
· Process files to include all the necessary documentation, costs & sales revenue in a timely manner.
· To maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant daily challenges.
· Use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in all activity and procedures.
Experience needed.
· Conversant with all aspects of Ocean Import Freight.
· Proactive approach to problem solving.
· Good analytical and numerical skills.
· Commercial awareness, with a can-do attitude.
· Knowledge of Cargo wise, Destn8, CNS. MCP
· Excellent written/ Verbal communication skills.
· Self-motivated, good team player
Monday to Friday 40-hour week.
