We are working with a Medium Size forwarder, based in Basildon who are looking to recruit an Import Internal Sales.
Main duties of the Import Internal Sales:
Manage and coordinate sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and client follow ups.

Build strong working relationships with existing import clients.
Respond to customer inquiries (with in 24hrs), providing accurate information about our services, pricing, and delivery options.
Follow up on all new business opportunities and sales leads, quotes, and negotiations, driving them towards successful closure within 24hrs.
Provide accurate import quotations for sea/air & road enquiries.
· Negotiate ocean freight rates with overseas agents.
· Negotiate import haulage rates with shipping lines & Merchant own haulage (MOH) suppliers.
· Communicating with internal operations & commercial team if required
· Assisting external sales reps as & when required.
We are looking for someone with forwarding experience in the above field not operations or outside sales executive this is an Internal Sales Role
Monday / Friday 9am-5pm
Office based.
Salary depends on experience.
